A new update on WhatsApp beta on iOS has started popping. This will aid its users in sharing auto playing GIFs. The recent update on WhatsApp was emojis. Following this, the app has been eyeing on Viber’s releases which is its potential competitor.
This new feature on WhatsApp is similar to that of Slack, Viber, Facebook’s Messenger and Hallo which is an upcoming platform all of which allow sharing photos and GIFs.
It is still confusing on how it will get implemented upon release. The GIF shared on this platform can also be saved in the gallery. Apart from this GIF feature, a few bugs on WhatsApp are also fixed which also provides hint that the video calling feature will soon be introduced.
