Ram Mohan Roy gets appointed as Chief Secretary

Gnanadesigan who has been the Chief Secretary of Tamil Nadu government is replaced with Ram Mohan Rao.
Mr Ram Mohan Rao has been working as the Principal Secretary of the Chief Minister. He will also take up additional positions of vigilance commissioner and reform commissioner.
Gnanadesigan is appointed as the chairman and managing director of industrial development in Tamil Nadu. Likewise, Pradeep Yadav who has been functioning as the Chief Secretary of Sports Development Authority is now switched as the principal secretary of co-operatives and consumer protection. This position has been handled by Siva Das Meena so far.
Official Kakkan Deep Singh Bedi who has been functioning as the rural development and Panchayat Raj Secretary is changed to Commissioner of Agriculture and the Secretary of the Department of Agriculture. This position has so far been handled by Dr S. Vijayakumar, IAS. Kakkan Deep Singh will also function as the secretary of animal husbandry and diary and fish resources.
The principal secretary of forests and environment Hans Raj Varma, IAS is now switched as Rural Development and Panchayat Raj Department secretary. Athulya Misra, IAS is now appointed as the secretary of department of forest and environment. He will also function as the commissioner of revenue management.
Official Shantha Sheela Nair, retired IAS is positioned as a special official in the Chief Minister’s office.
