Fully bendable smartphones from Samsung

According to reliable sources, Samsung Electronics is likely to consider introducing new smartphone models which will have bendable screens. These screens can be opened and closed just like cosmetic compact.
These can be launched in the market soon in 2017. This model will give a head start for the new Apple Inc iPhones. People say this second model from Samsung will come with 5 inch display when it is used as handset. When this is unfurled, it will expand to an 8 inch display, and have a tablet-like look.
One of the potential supplier of OLED panels is Samsung. This is a pioneer in developing new screen formats that contain multi-sided edge smartphones. This use of advanced display technology will aid in recapturing customers who have switched to Apple. This can pave way for them to enhance their earnings that have seen a recent dip.
Lee Seung Woo, an analyst at IBK securities Co, Seoul said this will bring forth a complete changeover if the user interfaces with bendable screens.
A hike of 1.5 percent in Samsung shares was observed in Seoul. This accounted to Rs 1,398,000. With this, the overall gain is 11 percent.
Both the models from Samsung may be unveiled in February. This will give the brand a head-start on iPhone by Apple.
Its next Note device will be named Note 7. Samsung will not market these bendable screen smartphones under Galaxy S name.
