Hero MotoCorp to set up facility in the State

An auto component manufacturing facility of two wheeler manufacturer Hero MotoCorp Ltd. (HMCL) will be set up in Tamil Nadu. Sources say that an investment of around Rs. 75 crore will be made for the facility.
According to a senior official from the government, A team from Hero MotorCorp was here to meet the Industries Secretary and officials of Guidance Bureau to discuss the deal. The company is looking for a 20-acre space and the government has displayed a plot at Vallam Vadagai SIPCOT Industrial park. The discussions (about signing an MOU) are still on with the team.
