CBSE 10th results 2016: 96.21 Percentage pass

The results of the CBSE 10th Standard examinations were released today (Friday, 28th May). As compared to last year’s performance, the percentage pass has come down this year.
CBSE 10th Standard examinations were conducted throughout India from 1st March till 28th March.1373853 students wrote the examinations.
From the CBSE Chennai Region, which covers the states and Union Territories like Tamil Nadu, Andhra, Karnataka, Maharashtra, Goa, Puducherry, Andaman Nicobar, and Daman and Diu, 162000 students wrote the CBSE 10th Standard examinations.
With the task of correcting the mark sheets having been completed, the results were announced around 1.00 PM.
The percentage pass is reported to be 96.21. This was 97.31 last year.
