There are 2655 seats available for joining MBBS courses in the 20 government medical colleges in Tamil Nadu.
There are 65 MBBS seats available in one ESI Medical College.
There are 85 seats available for joining courses on dentistry in 1 government dental college.
There are 800 seats available for MBBS in the 8 private medical colleges approved last year. Around 1000 seats available for the course in dentistry in 10 private dental colleges were filled up after counselling.
The number of seats available in private medical colleges varies according to the approval of the Indian Medical Council every year.
