Four girl students are top scorers in Puducherry 10th examinations

Four girl students scored 498 marks in the 10th public examinations in Puducherry. The passing percentage has been increased by 0.11 when compared to last year. 17,252 boys and girls students have written 10th public examinations in Puducherry and Karaikal regions. 16,407 students have passed the examinations. The passing percentage was 92.42.
 
Four girl students have secured the first place. P Keerthana of Subramania Bharathi Higher secondary school in Tirukanoor village, Preethi of Amalorpavam Higher Second School, Jaudi Magdaline and P Vaishnavadevi (both from St Joseph of Cluny Higher Secondary School) are the top scorers.  18 students have secured the second place by scoring 497 marks and 13 students have secured the third place by securing 496 marks.
 
1841 students have scored 100 out of 100 marks. No students have scored 100 marks in Tamil. 72 students have scored 100 marks in French while one student has scored 100 marks in English. 640 students have scored 100 marks in Maths and 770 students in social science.
