Applications for MBBS & BDS courses will be issued from tomorrow (May 26)

Health Minister J.P. Nadda has mentioned that the students of Tamil Nadu can be allotted seats for MBBS courses on the basis of their Plus 2 marks but all management quota seats shall be filled by the private colleges and deemed universities through the NEET examination only. Yesterday President Pranab Mukherjee exempted State government medical colleges from the Supreme Court-mandated single all-India entrance exam for a year. A total number of 2,257 seats are available across the 20 government medical colleges.
There are 85 BDS seats in Chennai Parrys Government Dental College and more than 900 government seats submitted by self financing dental colleges. All these seats will be filled up without entrance examinations.
It has been mentioned that these seats will be filled up on the basis of cut off marks as usual.
Applications for MBBS and BDS courses will be issued from tomorrow (May 26, 2016). Applications will be issued from tomorrow at Rajeev Gandhi Medical Government College, Kilpauk Medical College and Stanley Medical College. BDS application forms will be issued from tomorrow at all dental colleges. Candidates can also apply on online from today 12 noon.
