All set for vote counting tomorrow

Police officials investigated the security arrangements made owing to vote counting set to take place tomorrow. Assembly elections for Tamil Nadu took place day before yesterday and the vote counting is scheduled for tomorrow, the 19th of May 2016.
Voting made at Perambur, Kulathur, Villivakkam, Egmore, Thousand lights, Anna Nagar, etc will be counted at Loyola College. Those made at Dr Radhakrishnan Nagar, Thiru Vi. Ka. Nagar, harbor, Chepauk, and Triplicane will be counted at Rani Mary College. Voting at Virugambakkam, Saidapet, T.Nagar, Mylapore, and Velachery will be counted at Anna University, Guindy. MIT College, Chrompet will be the vote counting booth for vote cast at Alandur and Pallavaram. For votes cast at Tambaram, the centre will be Jayagopal Garodia school and for Sholinganallur, the centre will be Mohammed Satak college.
The voting machines from these twenty centres were brought to counting booths with complete police protection. A 3-tier protection is given to this process.
These machines are stored in rooms and kept sealed. The first tier security involves assistant military officials and the second tier security involves police officials and the third involves local police protection. In each and every counting centre, there are about 500 police officials manned for safety.
Each and every counting booths are under the control of police officials. CCTV cameras are placed on each and every desk at these counting booths. All these recordings in these cameras are connected to the control room. Incidents taking place at these counting booths can be monitored right from their control room.
Vote counting will begin at 8 am tomorrow. About 1800 people are deployed for the job. Use of mobile phone and entry or intrusions of outsiders are not allowed. Barricades are placed at 100m distance from these counting centres. Political party members can stand there. There are separate places allotted for reporters and booth agents.
All the safety measures made for vote counting were inspected by police commissioner Shankar and Seshai.
