Passing level in Government schools go high

Plus 2 results have been announced yesterday. When compared to last year, the percentages of passing in government schools have gone high this year. At the same time the percentage of passing has come down in private, matriculation and Anglo Indian schools.
 
In the year 2011 Samacheer Kalvi was introduced. As per this all the schools including government and non government schools should follow this pattern of common education. Students are taught subjects according to this system.
 
As per the plus 2 results released yesterday, 97.89 percentages of students studying in the private schools have passed. At the same time when compared to last year, the percentage of passing has become less in private, matriculation and Anglo Indian schools. There is increase of percentage in passing in the government and government aided schools when compared to last year.
 
100 percent passing in 284 government schools:
 
In 284 government schools throughout Tamil Nadu there was 100 percent pass. 3, 47, 478 students belonging to government schools had written the Plus 2 examinations. Out of this, 2, 97, 641 have passed this examination.
