ChennaiRains Update - Lower bands fall over Chennai, Good Rains lashing Chennai - Depression intensifies into Deep Depression

No landfall is expected for this Deep Depression as it is expected to intensify into Cyclone Roanu today or Tomorrow. Meanwhile Decent intensity Rains continuing over Chennai. The Deep Depression trying to give some more rains before moving further aways. Maybe some final spells from the system. Looks like we may end up with another 20-30 mm after 8.30 am today.
Lets cherish this final spell of rains from the Deep Deprssion which has cooled the temperature like ooty. Some more bands may fall over us giving here and there some sharp spells.
Please ignore the Cyclone warning flashing given by many prominent English News channels. As usual they report very late without any factual understanding. No danger for Chennai or Tamil Nadu from this system.
