Power Cut in Chennai

There is heavy rain in Chennai due to the low depression in Bay of Bengal. There was heavy rain after midnight in Adyar, Thiruvanmiyur, Parrys Corner, Ekkatuthangal, Neelankarai, Velacherry, Triplicane,, Kodambakkam, West Mambalam and Mylapore. Because of this, the roads were flooded. Most of the subways are submerged in water. The Corporation staffs are busy pumping out the water. As a precautionary measure the power was cut yesterday night at 9 pm.
