Counselling for post-graduate medical courses on 12th and 13th May

It has been announced that the 2nd stage of counselling for post-graduate medical courses is scheduled to be conducted on 12th and 13th May.

It has also been emphasised to the students that those who are seriously interested in pursuing post-graduate medical courses should participate in the counselling session without fail.

The 1st stage of counselling for the various medical courses including Postgraduate, Chartered post-graduation course, 6-year course on neurological surgery, and dentistry was completed in a session from 4th April.

Inclusive of Government college seats and government quota seats in self-financed medical colleges, the counselling was done for 854 seats.

At the end of the counselling, 751 seats were filled.

Now, the stage is set for 2nd stage counselling for the post-graduation courses - medical, 89 seats and dental college seats, 14 seats - for a total of 103 seats is scheduled to be conducted on 12th and 13th May at the multi-speciality Omandhurar Hospital.

The selection board officials have informed that the students who did not participate in the 1st stage counselling cannot participate in the 2nd stage counselling. The students who got allotment in a particular college but failed to join and those who joined and quit will also be not eligible to participate in the 2nd stage counselling.
