No special queues for actors, actresses and VIPs on the Election Day

Chief Electoral Officer Rajesh Lakhani has mentioned that there will be no special queue for actors, actresses and VIPs.
Chief Electoral Officer Rajesh Lakhani while speaking to the media said, There are 660001 voters booth. Now those who to wish to have colour electoral cards can apply online. This will be sent by speed post as early as possible. Apart from this these cards are available also at Adyar and Aminjikarai. Details regarding the voters list are available on the election commission’s website or you can contact 1950 and get the details. Booth slips to Tamil Nadu voters will be issued from 5th May.
Booth number and booth details will be sent to the registered mobile number. This will be sent from 3rd May. On the Election Day, there will be no special queues for actors, actresses and VIPs. Separate queues have been arranged for men and women voters. Physically disabled people, senior citizens and pregnant women can cast their votes directly without waiting in the queues.
Unaccounted money are being seized by the flying squad of the election commission. Nearly Rs 80 Crores have been seized.
