Final electoral candidates list to be released today

7,156 people have filed their nominations for the 234 constituencies in Tamil Nadu State Assembly elections. After examining the nomination forms, 4200 nominations were accepted. 2956 were rejected. Today is the last date to withdraw the nominations. Withdrawal should be done by 3 PM. Today evening the final electoral candidates list will be released.
