10 Laddus as presents for the bridal couple - free marriage at Tirupathi temple

The free marriage scheme has been implemented at Tirupathi temple from 25th April.
Earlier, TTD (Thirumalai Tirupathi Devasthanam) used to charge for conducting marriages at the marriage facilities located near Thurmalai Papavinasanam Theertham.
Now, TTD has made this free of charge.TTD is making free arrangement for the marriage requirements such as the service of the priests, Nadaswaram music band, and the video expenses for the marriage.
Apart from this, TTD offers some presents to the bridal couple, named Ezhumalaiyan Kaanikkai, given on behalf of TTD.
The presents include 10 laddus weighing 25 gm each, sanganam of the deity, Mathur & vermillion from the temple of Thiruchanur.
An official informed the facility to make bookings for the free marriage scheme will be introduced and arrangements will be issued to give marriage certificates on the marriage date itself.
