Around 32 percent of online travel booking done through Mobile Apps

With the increasing trend of using the smartphones and Apps, the online booking for travel through smartphones has been growing 10 percent each year.
Currently, it is 32 percent.Simultaneously, the customers accord equal importance on booking tickets through computers.
However, the system of booking tickets through travel agents has come down from 11.2 percent in the year 2015 to 8 percent this year.
In a similar trend, the practice of booking summer vacation tours through travel agents in the year 2015 was 67.4 percent. This has come down to 35 percent this year.
This year, around 31 percent of those who have planned summer tours have planned to visit foreign countries.
A tourism company, after a survey, has declared that 44 percent of Indian summer vacation tourists plan their trip just for relaxation.
