Visa to improve chip cards system

Visa has announced that it will be improving its smart chop embedded cards. A lot of businesses and customers have complained about being forced to wait for transactions to go through. The company`s new Quick Chip for EMV will allow customers to dip and remove their cards without waiting for the purchase to be finalised.
The company has also said that the new cards are more secure than those with the magnetic strips. This is because each chip assigns a unique code to each transaction. Chip cards are also much harder to duplicate. Visa has said that more than 265 million of its credit and debit chip cards have been issued to date.
