Apple products have life expectancy of between 3 and 4 years

Apple Inc has said that its range of watches and smartphones have a life expectancy of three years. They have also said that the Apple TV`s life expectancy is about 4 years. The announcement was made in a recent environmental policy update.
A report has also said that an iPhone is most productive for three years, and the same goes for the Apple Watch. A year more is the productivity of the Apple TV and the OS X.
Apple said, Daily usage patterns are dependent on a few factors but the key determining factor is a mixture of actual and modelled customer-use data. Years of use, which are based on first owners, are assumed to be four years for OS X and tv OS devices and three years for iOS and watch OS devices.
