LG launches launched two locally-made K7 and K10 smartphones

Korean electronics major LG on April 14 launched two locally-made K7 and K10 smartphones. The devices, which are priced at Rs 9,500 and Rs 13,500 respectively were launched by Telecom Minister Ravi Shankar Prasad.They`re the first phones that LG will manufacture entirely in India. The devices will be manufactured in a fully-automated plant based in Noida. 
 
The K7 features a 5-inch screen (854×480) with in-cell touch technology. It`s powered by a Snapdragon chipset and supported by 1.5GB RAM. The phone only features 5MP front and rear cameras and comes with 8GB of internal storage. The battery is a 2125mAh one and the device runs Android 5.1. The device will offer 4G and VoLTE support and will be available in Titan, Gold and White colors. 
 
The more expensive K10 features a 5.3-inch HD display (1280×720) with in-cell touch technology and is also powered by a Snapdragon chipset. However, the K10 is supported by 2GB of RAM and is available in a 16GB variant. Battery capacity has been bumped up to 2300mAh. The device will also offer 4G and VoLTE support and will be available in White, Indigo and Gold.
