Tirupathi temple: VIP Darshan tickets cancelled due to summer rush

Summer holidays in the state of Andhra are scheduled from 15th April (Friday) till 20th June.
It is expected that there will be a huge surge in the number of devotees visiting the famous temple during this period.
The CEO of TTD (Thirumalai Tirupathi Devasthanam), Mr Sambasiva Rao, informed that an extra surge of devotees is expected to visit the famous Tirupathi temple during the summer holiday from 15th April till 20th June.
So, VIP Darshan, scheduled on Fridays, stands cancelled during this period. However, VIP Break Darshan & VIP Protocol Darshan will be allowed on other days of the week.
Recommendation letters will not be entertained. The Darshan period from 10.00 AM till 1.00 PM for senior citizens also stands cancelled. However, senior citizen Darshan will be from 1.00 PM till 3.00 PM.
The devotees from VIP Protocol Darshan & the devotees who conduct cultural performances will be allowed during VIP Darshan period.
