Facility for rental bicycles in metro cities

From now, passengers getting down at their destination Railway Station need not wait for autos or call-taxis and incur high expenses to reach their homes.
Delhi Railway is making arrangements for rental cycles at reasonably lower rates at the station.
There have been complaints that the air-pollution has increased in Delhi Metro due to the increasing vehicular traffic. Also, frequent complaints have been received from Metro Rail passengers that there are no transport facilities to reach their homes.
In order to solve these 2 issues, Delhi Metro Administration has decided to introduce the facility of the rental cycle system.
As per this plan, every Delhi Metro Station will have a rental cycle centre. Facilities will be available to park the vehicle in selected locations within a few kilo meter from these stations.
So, the passenger can go to the rental cycle centre, take a cycle on rent and receive a token.
This token will be on a monthly basis. The passenger can park the cycle at allocation nearest to his/her home.
This facility will help reduce the traffic congestion experienced in the city. Also, a cheaper facility is provided to the public. At the same time, thi is good for the health. So, Delhi Metro Administration is targeting at the multiple benefits with this scheme.
Once successfully implemented, other state Metros can follow this arrangement to derive these benefits. Wasteful expenditure of the public is also reduced to some extent.
