Amma full-body health checkup scheme - facility to register online

The facility for registering online for Amma full-body health checkup scheme has been introduced.The results will be the next day after the checkup.
Chief Minister Jayalalithaa inaugurated the Amma full-body medical checkup scheme and Women`s special full-body medical checkup scheme at the Chennai General Hospital.
3 types of check-up schemes have been introduced.If these tests are to be carried out in private hospitals, it would cost over Rs. 10000/-.
However, under the Amma Gold full blood checkup is done at Rs. 1000/- only.
Blood test (before & after meals), kidney blood test, Blood pressure tests, pancreas blood test, chest contraction x-ray, and womb checkup are all included in this scheme.
For the persons who come for this checkup, breakfast will be served free in the hospital.
Amma Diamond medical checkup scheme is priced at Rs. 2000/-. Apart from the tests in Amma Gold checkup scheme mentioned above, ECG, Echo EBSA, Thyroid tests, and HB A1C tests also will be conducted.
Under Amma Platinum special women`s body checkup, the price is fixed at Rs. 3000/-.
Along with the tests mentioned for Amma Diamond scheme, Numerical breast special test,Texa-scan, Bone strength tests will all be conducted.
Tests will be taken between 8.00 AM & 2.00 PM. Test results will be given the next day.
For Amma medical checkup, apart from coming directly, persons can also book online for this and visit the hospital on the appointed date.
General Hospital Dean, Ms.Vimala, informed that the facility to inform the test results also online has been introduced.
