CBSE Board exams from 1st March

The Central Board for Secondary Examination will hold the Class XII exam from tomorrow. The Class XII exams will be held from March 1 to April 24 this year while Class X the Board-based exams would be held from March 1 to March 28. The Chennai region has 56,948 candidates. In class X, there are over 1.62 lakh students in the region who will be writing examinations in 615 centres.
Special arrangements have been made for the examination candidates belonging to the differently-abled category.
For the forthcoming board exams, 17,000 schools have been brought under the ambit of Board`s digital programme, E-CBSE, under which the schools can generate student roll numbers for main exam, make corrections in the particulars, and upload photos using the existing Id and passwords except for subject change.
