Parsi and Maharashtrian food – new restaurants at Alwarpet

Two new restaurants have come up at Alwarpet, in the same building. A Parsi restaurant - Batlivala & Khanabhoy and a Maharashtrian restaurant - Meena Tai`s at 40, Maharaja Surya Road, Venus Colony, Alwarpet. Both ventures are headed by Uday Balaji and Vikram, a duo from Coimbatore.
Meena Tai`s is located on the ground floor of the building. It serves Marati delicacies like sabudhana vada, various baajis, chicken and mutton dishes and daals. If you have a specific diet, you can also find dishes that are gluten free, dairy free or shell fish free. Call them at 33011687.
