Hungry Metro Rail passengers can eat at food joints

Chennai Metro Rail has started installing food joints at some the stations on this line in an attempt to attract more passengers.
This has been done after seven months since the first service between Koyambedu and Alandur was made operational.
Stations like Alandur and Vadapalani have eateries in the non-paid area of the station (from the entrance to the baggage-scanning area).
But commuters cannot bring in food items beyond the non-paid area.
