Facility to pay electricity bills at all e-service centres

Tamil Nadu Arasu Cable TV Company has announced that electricity bills can also be paid at the Electricity bills can also be paid at all E-service centres throughout the state. Payment will be as per the details of the electricity bill.
The Managing Director of Tamil Nadu Arasu TV Company made a press release yesterday (Thursday, 21st January).
465 E-service centres has been set up Tamil Nadu state including the Chennai Chief Secretariat, all Taluk Offices, Chennai Corporation Regional Offices,, Ward offices, and the regional Passport Offices in Chennai, Madurai, Coimbatore, and Trichy.
E-centres provide certificates relating to the departments of Revenue and Social Welfare, applying for financial& other schemes, etc. All certificates related to revenue Department are charged Rs. 50/- as Service charges. All Social Welfare Department certificates are charged Rs. 100/- as service charges.
Further, the news regarding the requested certificates are being sent as SMS to the applicant`s cell phone.
As for Chennai, apart from the above services, Property tax, Profession Tax, and Company Tax can also be paid at Chennai Corporation Head Offices, Regional Offices, and Ward Offices.
In a recent introduction, the facility to pay Electricity Bills has been provided. If the electricity bill is under Rs. 1000/-, Service Charge will be Rs. 10/-. For bills between Rs. 1001/- & below Rs. 3000/-, the service charges will be Rs. 20/-. For bills between Rs. 3001/- & Rs. 5000/-, the service charges will be Rs. 50/-.
