Jayalalithaa: Candidates interested in standing for Assembly Elections can apply

Tamil Nadu Chief Minister & AIADMK Party General Secretary Ms. Jayalalithaa has informed that the candidates interested in contesting elections for the Legislative Assembly may submit applications.
Elections for the Legislative Assembly are scheduled this year for the states of Tamil Nadu, Kerala, and Pudhucherry.
All the political parties have geared up for intensive activities in preparation of campaigning for the election.
In this situation, Jayalalithaa has announced that the candidates interested in contesting elections in all these 3 states can submit their applications.
In a report, she has stated that candidates interested in standing for Assembly elections in Tamil Nadu, Kerala, and Pudhucherry can submit their applications from 10.30 AM & 5.00 PM from 20th January till 3rd February.
Candidates interested in contesting Assembly Elections in Tamil Nadu will have to pay a
Fee of Rs. 11000/-. Candidates interested in contesting Assembly Elections in Pudhucherry will have to pay a Fee of Rs. 5000/-. Candidates interested in contesting Assembly Elections in Kerala will have to pay a Fee of Rs. 2000/-.
