21 District Collectors transferred

Seetharaman, Cuddalore Collector would now hold the post of Project Director, Post Tsunami sustainable livelihood programme, while Dindigul Collector M Vallalar will be the Additional Commissioner of Industries and Commerce.
Coimbatore Collector P Umanath, who will be Joint Secretary, Finance Department. He will replace D Karthikeyan, who has already been transferred, .
Erode Collector C Kamaraj will now be Deputy Secretary, Transport Department.
Rajendra Ratnoo, Kanyakumari Collector will be the Joint Secretary, Department of Special Programme Implementation. Joint Secretary, Higher Education Department will see J Uma Maheshawari, Karur Collector assuming the post.
Villupuram Collector R Palanisamy will be Joint Commissioner of Municipal Administration.
M Vijaykumar, Perambalur Collector will be Deputy Secretary, Health and Family Welfare Department.
A Suganthi, Pudukottai Collector will be Deputy Secretary, social welfare and nutritious meal programme department.
T N Hariharan, Ramanthapuram Collector would assume charge as Deputy Secretary, Rural Development and Panchyati Raj. .
MS Shanmugam, Thanjavur collector, is posted as joint secretary, industries department.
M Jayaraman, Tirunelveli collector, is posted as joint secretary, labour and employment. TP Rajesh, Tiruvallur collector, is posted as deputy secretary, Tamil development, religious endowment and information department.
C Samayamoorthy, Tirupur collector, is posted as joint secretary, protocol, public department.
VK Shanmugam, Virudhunagar collector, is posted as joint secretary, agriculture. TK Ponnusamy, Ariyalur collector, is posted as joint secretary, energy.
V Palanikumar, Vellore collector, is posted as project director and member secretary of Tamil Nadu State AIDS Control Society.
S Madumathi, Namakkal collector, is posted as Chennai Corporation deputy commissioner, health. V Sampath, Sivaganga collector, is posted as MD, Tamil Nadu Industrial Explosives Limited.
