Tamil Nadu Government: Jobless graduates offered Rs.5 Lakh loan to start industries

Tamil Nadu Government has announced that jobless graduates residing the districts severely affected in the recent floods will be offered a loan of Rs. 5 lakhs along with 25 percent of the capital required.
Tamil Nadu Government has been offering loans under the scheme for assured employment for jobless graduates with Rs. 5 Lakhs & 25 percent capital required for starting new industry.
As per this scheme, around 5000 jobless graduates per year are granted the loans as above.
Tamil Nadu Chief Minister has ordered that exemption should be given from the condition that the loan applicants must undergo training.
