Indias First Space Park in Bengaluru

Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) has announced that India`s 1st Space Park will commence from the end of January.
Recently, ISRO has increased its capacity to launch satellites. ISRO has also informed that 12 more satellites are scheduled to be launched shortly for various purposes including remote sensing & monitoring.
The Space Park to be set up will manufacture the spare parts for the satellites and other services.
The Space Park will also assist in the Indian Government`s Make in India project.
Currently, the private sector industry has been manufacturing the satellites launched by ISRO.
ISRO has planned to set up projects which will serve its own requirements and also help establish some private sector industry.
