Half yearly examinations for all classes under the State board are scheduled from today

Due to the incessant rainfall since Diwali in Chennai, Tiruvallur and Kancheepuram, schools and colleges were closed for long time. Chief minister J Jayalalithaa said examinations originally scheduled from December 7 onwards will be held in the first week of January 2016.
The half yearly examinations for all classes under the State board have commenced on January 11 and end will on January 27. The School Education department released the schedule for Class X and XII examinations, which include English Paper II for Class XII on January 14.
