Deadline for collecting exam fee from 10th class students

All headmasters of schools are instructed to collect the exam frees from 10th standard students by or before 20th January and sent to the directorate of school education. The board exam for class 10 students is set to begin in March. The list of students who are taking up the exam is being prepared now. For this, exam fees of Rs 115 will be collected.
Those who study in Tamil medium, students who have selected other languages, SC and ST students, and backward class students whose family income is lesser than Rs 2 lakh per annum need not pay the exam fee. For the rest of the students, the fees should be collected before 20th January and submitted to the board of school education. Further, the school headmasters need to submit a list of all students who enjoy fees relaxation and the list of those who have paid the fee.
