Do not munch on chips if you need good sleep

Munching on crispy chips and watching TV with jovial talks and jokes will disturb deep sleep, claims a new study. Generally, cricket and football matches are telecast in TV during night times.
 
Fans of sports stay awake and keep watching TV. Munching chips and sipping a nice cool drink is practiced while watching the match at such times. This will disturb a good night sleep. There are people who suffer without good night`s sleep. They keep turning side to side and their eye balls keep rotating while they get dreams during sleep. However, by munching on some fatty snack during night time, this rotation of eyeballs gets significantly reduced, say studies.
 
In general, a calorie count of 1600 calories and 1400 calories are required for men and women respectively. Of these, 25 percent of intake need to be less in fat content. In just four pieces of crispy chips, there are four grams of fat which means it accounts to 36 calories. Consuming large amount of chips throughout the day will add about 40 grams of fat or 360 calories. This will increase the overall calorie count of the day to 2000.
 
A night`s sleep will get affected if the food consumed during the day is full of fat. In India, the food we take contains 45 percent fat content. In addition to this, by munching fatty items at night, the night`s sleep gets affected. Eight hours of sleep is mandatory for each and every human. With this, one can carry out their regular activities during the day time on the next day.
 
This results in lack of enough thinking, lack of focus, loss of memory, accident, and so on. One should go to bed only after three hours of finishing dinner. Having the dinner too late or munching on fatty snack items at night times will disturb sleep. A full night`s sleep will give the equal energy that 10 servings of food can give.  Hence it is advisable to avoid chips if you want a good night`s sleep.
