IIT Madras placements to resumes today

Due to inclement weather and flooding in Chennai the Indian Institute of Technology, Madras has suspended the placements after day 1(December 1). This was rescheduled for Jan 6-16, 2016.
The first five days, till January 10, will have two sessions per day (7 am to 2 pm and 4 pm to 11 pm). There will be no interviews on January 11, while January 12-14 will have one session per day (10 am to 5 pm).
On Dec 1, IIT Madras received five international offers from six companies in the graveyard session (beginning 12 in the midnight). The forenoon session saw 85 offers coming from 18 companies while there were 26 offers from eight companies in the afternoon session. A total of 117 offers from 31 companies in the 2015-16 placement season.
