New helpline for LPG customers
The oil ministry recently launched 1906, a dedicated grievance cell number for LPG customers of the three public sector oil marketing companies. The centralized number will function round the clock. The helpline offers services in nine languages, including Tamil, Hindi and English, to ensure callers can register grievances. The call center is also equipped to cater to outbound calls for contacting distributors and oil company officials.
