Researchers in Taiwan have developed a new mobile application. This app will identify the reason for a baby`s cry. They have developed it out of all their efforts invested for over two years.
The app is embodied with the cries of hundreds of infants. The researchers have compiled cries of over 2 lakh infants each of which are unique cries. Based on these recorded cries, the app will easily identify the reason for a baby`s cry.
This app holds an accuracy level of 92 percent and can be used to identify reason for cry in babies less than 2 years of age. The app is named Infant Cries Translator. It is available for download on Android smartphones. It is priced Rs 200.
