Mobile phones with extra button for women safety soon

New phones that can be of assist safety of ladies are to be launched soon. These phones will have an extra button that will aid girls and women to receive aid from the police at once. All mobile phone companies have agreed to roll out such phones from March 2016, said Menaka Sanjay Gandhi, the Indian Union Cabinet Minister for Women & Child Development.
She added that the feature can also be included in the phones that are presently in use. Nearly 10,000 centres are to be exclusively launched across India so as to facilitate the service.
