I am not remaking Pandiyan: Director Sooraj

Pandiyan is a superhit film which had Rajinikanth in the lead role. The film which was directed by S P Muthuraman was released in the year 1992. Panchu Arunachalam had penned the story. Now there is news that this film is likely to be remade by director Sooraj. When asked Sooraj about this, he said, Not sure where this rumour came from. I`m not remaking Pandiyan. My next project will be with a leading star and everything is in the process of getting finalised.
He also said it`s too early to divulge more information regarding his project.
Known for making entertainers such as Marudhamalai, Mappillai and Padikkadavan, Suraj promises his next film will also be high on entertainment.
