As a part of its Alphabet Inc, Google is building a new mobile messaging application so as to compete with other players like Facebook Inc, reported the Wall Street Journal.
The journal added that a new service would tap into artificial intelligence by Google, integrating Chatbots, or a program that will answer questions inside the messaging app. Users can text their friends or a chatbox. The chatbox will search in the web and other sources for answers for questions asked. The name of the app or the launching details are unclear still. Google declined to comment on the same. As of now, Google has Hangouts while the other including WhatsaApp and Messenger by Facebook and WeChat by Tencent Holdings Ltd.
