Start of the Tamil Sacred month Margazhi: Suprapadha Sevai canceled in Tirupathi

The Tamil sacred Month of Marghazhi is set to start at 10.52 PM tonight (Wednesday, 16th December).
On this occasion, The Suprapathasevai which is performed daily between 2.30 AM & 3.00 AM in Tiruptahi temple will be cancelled for 1 moth from Thursday, 17th December.
Further, Thomala sevai, performed between 3,00 AM till 4.30 Am and Archanai sevai performed between 4.30 Am and 5.30 AM are also cancelled for 1 month.
In place of the above seavis, Thiruppavai sevai will start from 16th December till 15th January daily and will end on 15th January at 6.45 AM.
The other religious events which are preformed during the afternoons such as Kalyana Utsavam, Oojnal sevai, Vasantha Utsavam, Sahasradeepalankara Sevai, etc will continue as usual.
As per the announcement from TTD officials, the Suprapatham Sevai will be resumed from 16th January as usual from 2.30 AM to 3.00 AM.
