LIC concessions to flood affected people

LIC has mentioned that policy holders of the heavily rain affected in Tamil Nadu and Pondicherry will not be levied any penalty if they pay the premium late.
The flood affected people of Tamil Nadu and Pondicherry have lost their belongings. Majority of people have lost their policy documents. Moreover many lives have been lots in numerous places. LIC has given certain concessions to these affected people. LIC has eased the procedure for settlement of claims on the lives of flood victims who are policyholders. To make the claim a simple death certificate is enough. There is no need of police FIR or post-mortem report.
