Schools gear up for reopening after lasting holidays

Works to reopen schools tomorrow, the 14th December, across Chennai, Thiruvallur, Kanchipuram and Cuddalore districts are taking place in full swing.
Classrooms and school premises are getting cleaned and revamped for routine functioning of schools from tomorrow. Teachers and volunteers are actively taking part in the cleaning work.
Works to test electrical appliances for possible faults in them are also being done. It is also announced that the students should not touch any switch board or other electrical appliances.
The health ministry has also announced that a medical camp will be conducted on the day of reopening, which is tomorrow. It is to be noted that all schools have been shut for over one month.
However 29 government and government-aided schools will remain closed due to not ready to open and others that the corporation is using as relief camps.schools list as follows.
