Is Kavalai Vendam the remake of Kadhalikka Neramillai?

Kavalai Vendam is a film which has Jiiva and Kajal Aggarwal in the lead roles. The shooting of the film will commence from January.
Major portions of the film will be shot in Ooty and a few in Bangalore. The dates have just been finalised, with a schedule that starts on Pongal. It is a typical romcom which shows how marriages these days are not taken seriously and how couples easily gravitate towards divorce, with no valid reason for a separation. The film is the modern day version of the super hit yesteryear film, Kadhalikka Neramillai. Kajal plays a role of an IT professional in this film.
