Cut-off marks for B.E, M.B.B.S increase

The cut-off mark for BE, MBBS and other professional courses is likely to increase by 0.5 to 1 mark this year. Most number of students have got 200 out of 200 in maths and science subjects. Hence, the cut-off mark is likely to increase.

This year, the number of students who have scored above 195 marks has nearly doubled as compared to last year. A total of 3,317 students have scored over 195 marks as against 1553 students in 2010.

Also the number of students who have a difference of 0.25 marks has gone up two to three times, according to statistics.

BE, MBBS applications are given from today(16-05-2011) even on saturday and sunday without any holiday. Students can also download the BE applications from www.annauniv.edu/tnea2011 and MBBS application forms from www.tnhealth.org.
