With the low pressure zone formed over, there have been rains in Andhra as well.

In the famous temple-town of Tirupathi, it started as a minor drizzle yesterday morning (Monday, 30th November). This intensified gradually and become heavy rains.

There was continuous rain in Thirumalai area. Water got stagnated around the famous Tirupathi Temple and has almost formed a pond.

In fact, flood waters have entered the 2nd corridor of the temple. This created a great disturbance for the devotees who had gathered for Darshan. The water is being pumped out of the corridor.

There was some landslide which occurred in the 2nd mountain road leading to Tirupathi. Starting from the 7th km of the journey towards Tirupathi till the 14th km, rocks started falling down along the road.

Because of this, traffic movement was thoroughly disturbed.

Due to the heavy rains, even the normally huge crowd of devotees was not there. There were only a few devotes waiting for Darshan, Hence, they could have the Darshan of the Lord reasonably quickly.
