Veggies Price at Green Farms

The price of tomatoes at green farms is Rs 25 and in other outside markets, the same is double that of it and sold at Rs 50.
As a move to bring under control the skyrocketing price of veggies, there are 58 green farm consumer stores and 2 mobile stores functioning already. Due to incessant rainfall in the recent days, there is a decline in the volume of veggies received and prices have largely increased. To bring this under control, 50 temporary green farms were introduced in Chennai on 18th of this month. These stores function also on Sundays.
Ever since the launch of these stores, tomatoes have been sold at Rs 43 per kg. On last Saturday, the price was Rs 37 per kg and on Sunday, it was Rs 25.

· Snake gourd – Rs 34
· Egg plant – Rs 40
· Onions – Rs 39
· Potato – Rs 23
· Beetroot – Rs 22
· Lady`s finger – Rs 47
