Tremors in Vellore

It has been mentioned that tremors occurred three times yesterday night in Vellore. Because of this, there was a great commotion and people rushed out of their houses. Devaraj Nagar is situated in Arokia Madha Koil Street in Sarpanapet, Vellore. This place is at the base of a hillock. There are nearly 60 houses in this area and nearly 1200 people reside in this place.
It has been mentioned that there were tremors for three times last night. VAO of Vellore South Sri Muhammad enquired this matter. People said that they were living in this village for many years. They mentioned that about 8.30 PM they heard some rocks rolling with a big noise in the floor. There was a mild tremor at that time. Again the same thing occurred at 8.35 PM. TV and vessels started falling down so all the people came running out of their houses. Again the same thing happened at 8.40 PM so the people were scared and never entered their houses.
