Eight flights cancelled in Chennai due to pilot union strike

Eight Air India flights to and from Chennai were cancelled on Thursday following the strike by AI pilots, officials here said.

A service to Singapore besides in-bound flights from cities including Kolkata were cancelled, officials at the airport here said.
The Air India management had declared the strike illegal and derecognised the Indian Commercial Pilots� Association (ICPA) besides sealing its offices in Delhi and Mumbai.
