Air services not affected today

Air services were severely affected yesterday since heavy rain was pouring from yesterday morning.
Since there was heavy clogging of water in Chennai, there was delay in the arrival of pilots, airhostess and passengers to the Chennai Airport. Because of this, there was delay in the departure of flights.
Flights from Colombo to Chennai were sent back to Colombo. Flights from Singapore and Delhi to Chennai were sent back to Bangalore.
Since there were lesser rains from last midnight, flight services were not affected today. No planes were cancelled today. There was only a delay of 5 to 10 minutes in the arrivals and departures of flights.
